Process and Timeline
The County plans to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for this program, entitled: CDBG-DR Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Small Multifamily Rehabilitation Projects.
While the solicitation title retains the term "NOFA," the County has determined that a competitive RFP procurement process is the most appropriate approach for evaluating and selecting projects. This approach will enable the County to assess proposals based on qualifications, relevant experience, project feasibility, financial capacity, project readiness, and the proposer's demonstrated ability to successfully deliver eligible multifamily rehabilitation activities in accordance with program requirements.
The upcoming RFP will seek proposals from eligible respondents for the rehabilitation of eligible small multifamily rental housing developments utilizing funding provided through the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program to support recovery and resilience efforts following Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
The County is currently finalizing the solicitation and anticipates releasing the RFP in the near future. Additional information, including eligibility requirements, submission instructions, evaluation criteria, and key dates, will be published upon release. Interested parties are encouraged to continue monitoring this webpage for updates and forthcoming solicitation materials.
Please note: This information is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a commitment of funding. Applications or proposals will only be accepted upon formal release of the RFP.
